The definition of what a blog share means.
A blog share is the number of times your blog posts were shared on social media sites that week. We count shares on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
Most of the time these shares are done by people visiting your blog post and clicking on the share buttons we have added to your blog. But sometimes people will share your blog post directly from seeing it on one of the social media sites, such as Twitter or Facebook.
Blog shares are important as this is an indicator of if your blog post went viral or not. As well the more shares then the more links pointing back at your website and blog post. Which is good for SEO and the over marketing of your company.
